Accessibility Statement
Our aim is to make londonsam.org.uk usable by as many people as reasonably possible.
Last updated: 25 July 2026.
1. Our commitment
London Sam’s Ice Cream aims to provide a clear, perceivable and keyboard-usable website. The site uses semantic headings, visible focus behaviour, descriptive alternative text, responsive layouts and reduced-motion support.
2. Features included
- A skip link to move directly to the main content.
- Keyboard-operable navigation, buttons, links and disclosure panels.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Responsive content that reflows on smaller screens.
- Support for the browser’s reduced-motion preference.
- High-contrast text and controls in the principal interface.
3. Known limitations
Some decorative photography may contain complex visual detail that cannot be fully conveyed in short alternative text. Email links rely on the visitor’s device and configured email application. Very old browsers may not support every visual effect, although core content and links should remain available.
4. Assistance and alternative formats
If you cannot access information or need it in another format, email hello@londonsam.org.uk. Please identify the page, the difficulty encountered, your browser or assistive technology where helpful, and the format you need.
5. Feedback
Accessibility feedback is welcomed. Reports will be reviewed and prioritised according to impact, feasibility and the availability of a practical correction.
6. Ongoing review
Accessibility should be checked when content, forms, integrations or visual components are added or changed. Automated tests are useful but do not replace keyboard, screen-reader and user testing.
